The tstreet video shows highlights of AJ mixed in with Kolohe Andino and Tanner Rozunko. Sick.

Fyasko Welcomes Crazy Dave & Squishy.
“Well I should let you people know who I am right? David Ortiz. Not the baseball player they call Big Papi – you know, the guy who’s on the Red Sox (side note I don’t like Boston). Nah, I’m just a real dude from New York born and raised in Brooklyn East New York section. I’ve worked for Zoo York skateboards then later opened a sneaker boutique called Dave’s Quality M3AT. I just recently opened up a new shop called Dave’s Wear House located in Chinatown. I walk around and shoot photos of the city I remembered as a kid. And I’m gonna share this rare point of view of NYC cuz it’s slowly fading away and if I can hit you with some real meaningful shit and you like it, I hope it makes you love this place as much as I do. Enjoy…..” -Crazy Dave, 2012.

FC Cancer presents Brain Cancer Benefit for Jon McFarland
“We are throwing a victory over cancer benefit for Jon who has been battling his second round of brain cancer. Many times when we hear of these stories we feel a little tinge of guilt knowing we could do something but just don’t get off our butts and do it. In coordination with the FC Cancer Foundation, Waxy Wax, Surfette, BCP, and Mahe Restaurant, we are going to be having a one night only benefit of drinks, fund raising, and partying in honor of Jon’s fight and inevitable victory over this disease. The night it self is fairly cut and dry.” – Ben C.
Audible Mainframe. The VICtory Sessions: Volume 1
We’ve been talking about how talented our sponsored band, Audible Mainframe, is for a minute now. And in light of the recent Cancer diagnosis of their frontman and emcee, Victor Pontes-Macedo (AKA Expo), they have released Volume 1 from their newest project, The VICtory Sessions, showing the Band’s determination and dedication to their music…and their friend.
To make a donation to the VICtory project, please follow this link, as we encourage you to “pay what you want.” All proceeds will go to funding future volumes, as well as supporting Cancer research and awareness. The album can then be downloaded on their official website, or on their SoundCloud page. We appreciate the support and hope you enjoy Volume I…please feel free to share with your friends.
In addition over the next week, they’ll be breaking down each song on “The VICtory Sessions: Vol. I”… giving a short back story for each track.
The 1st installment is their newest single “Ready To Fly”…
{”Ready To Fly” was originally released as an exclusive single for 98.7FM and The Roxy Theatre. We had plans in place to record the official video around LA, with guest appearances including pro skater Andy MacDonald. With the video shoot less than a week away Expo was diagnosed with Cancer and had to return to Boston to begin chemotherapy. The song immediately became a rallying cry for the whole movement and we decided to rethink the video concept as a dedication to our wounded comrade. The song means more now than it did when we recorded it and the video came out better than we had ever imagined. Lyrically the song urges everyone to follow their dreams and never give up, which ironically takes on a whole new meaning given our current situation…take a look, have a listen and don’t forget to download the VICtory Sessions EP here.}

Leeside Skatepark Insanity.
Leeside Skatepark in Vancouver, British Columbia is known not only for its loyal following of skateboarders, but also for its open invitation to street artists and graffiti artist alike to lay claim to its two-sided tunnel. The skate haven celebrates with its annual “Leeside Halloween Jam.” The night welcomes costumed skaters to shred the square footage of its abandoned transit tunnel venue for one night amidst a sea of fireworks and bottle-rockets. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2012. Enjoy.

Fyasko Welcomes a New Explorer

Fyasko is hyped to welcome a new Explorer to the team! Meet Benjamin Douglas Classen.
Born 3/23/1982 in Saint Charles Illinois, lived there until ages 6 then “went gypsy” and has moved 28 times since!
A man of many talents: a former barista, he has worked framing houses, on cars, as an interior design, a landscape architect, in a surf shop, private label design and the former digital marketing manager at Skullcandy.
Has a Theoretical Physics and Philosophy degree for University Colorado Boulder.
Today his portfolio of work includes: columnist for karmaloop.com, photographer, graphic designer, web designer, marketing consultant, web analytics, design concept consultant, aesthetic architect and now a Fyasko Explorer!
Sorry gals, he is the self proclaimed winner of the woman’s lottery – in just 3 short weeks he is going to marry the woman of his dreams!

Went to middle school in San Juan, CA and would always get his ass kicked by the San Juan Crips!! So in high school at Capo Valley, where he played football, he picked up Brazilian jui jitsu. Since then he has only been in one fight! He now trains at the Guillobel Academy in San Clemente.
Although he is a Lost Winds local (where he recently proposed to his fiancé) at heart you can find him surfing anything shorter then a 6’ at salt creek, his new homebreak table rock and stealth missions to the Ranch.
During his 5 colleges years at the University of Colorado he picked up snowboarding and from his surfing background, was able to transition into a sponsorship in just 2 short years. That is where he found his love of the camera. Instead of riding, he was more interested in shooting his fellow riders and surrounding scenery. (Ben’s first camera beside Quicksnaps was an Olympus E3, his current camera is an A77 and his fav camera is an 1981 cannon AE1).
We asked Ben, “Why Fyasko?” He stated. “I choose to work with Fyasko because they are a Brand that is built around a central core idea of expression through collectiveness. They have their own sense of identity that it is expressed in the garments they design. I feel that they are not looking to fill a niche, they are not asking what’s cool and then designing from there, they just make stuff that they say is cool and then they live by that…..”
This interview happened just hours from Ben stepping down from his post at Skullycandy, Ben soundly looks at me and closes with this famous quote by Corrie Ten Boom “Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God”.
Ben is a guy with a ton of talent, life experience, travel, and grit. Fyasko is proud to announce him to our growing list of Explorers, whom through their cultured eyes and captured images, will open your imagination to get off your ass and go explore this great planet…..

1955 Mercedes-Benz Sells for $4.62 Million
Recently put on the block by Gooding & Company, the ultra-rare 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Alloy recently fetched $4.62 million dollars at auction, making it the most expensive purchase of its kind. With only 29 versions ever built with an aluminum body, auto insiders assumed that it would go for at least a cool $2 million, but it seems one auto enthusiast was willing to go the extra mile to add this baby to his collection. As one of the most iconic motorcars of all time, it can easily be said that the Alloy Gullwing is the most significant road-going Mercedes-Benz of the post-war era.
